Well here are images of both my Naboo cruiser and my Tyrannosaur, both are done in the 3d program, Maya, you may have heard of it...
Oh yeah, I have a new little video of my Naboo cruiser, just e-mail me if you'd like to see it at Pilotltkettch@cox.net
Pictures on the right bottom side are more recent.

Naboo Cruiser

I did this sketch when starting my T. rex, what I wanted the color to be like, I based it very loosely on several birds and lizards. VERY loosely. I'm trying to get that color on him, but I just suck at texturing.... well, now...

skin neck flap things close to done

Naboo Cruiser from the Top

Ignore the color, the bump is what I wanted from this one. I nabbed it from the Jurassic Park III soundtrack CD. This is the inspiration for my bump map, though I haven't made it yet. And just to clarify, I didn't make this... mine is the pale T. rex on this page. :D

Just a teaser poster for my finished film

The pictures above were made using Maya, the main body and wings are polygons while the engines are NURBS, I plan to fix that...

A design of mine for an upcoming project, of mine. I colored the pencil drawing in Photoshop.

And this is picture I made with a shuttle by Fabio Allamandri at Scifi 3D

I also plan on adding windows at a later date... and engine glow too...

Well, now I've realized that my T. rex is too smooth, I was hoping to get that feel in the textures, but according to those who know more about the CG world than I, I need to model more detail, this picture is a kind of inspiration for that, but I'll probably never get to that level. I actually don't know where to start, nor how to roughen up the model, if you have ANY suggestions on this or the texturing of my T. rex, please e-mail me at Pilotltkettch@cox.net. Thanks.

And here is a BMW that I'm trying to make look real for a friend's video project

Ok, then, here I fixed the NURBS problem, and the whole thing is one big surface, except the cones on the engines, but those are poly too

This here is a Naboo N-1 Starfighter that I got fromScifi 3d and modified. The model is by Andre Muller. Oh, and don't be fooled, the tropic setting is an actual image.

looks like i'm gettin better at it (actually, everything's the same, cept for the angle, oo, and motion blur)

I do plan on adding the engine glow and windows. Later...

I haven't been able to work much on this lately, but I'm beginning to get those details, using the Making of Jurassic Park book as a reference. But mostly I'm just making it up as I go.

deafult ocean care of Maya 4.5

New chrome...

ok then, here's the final detailed tyrannosaur head, untextured, now i'm going to move on to the body, after that, it's texturing time.

I call it, TIE in water

Ah, the engine glow.... now those windows...

Added details round the eyes, gonna make the wrinkle above the eye more subtle, then I'll move on to the body

This is not CG, it's what I'm supposed to replicate, we shot video of the actual car VERY SLOWLY approaching the pole, I'm supposed to make my car look like that car as best I can, then put it full speed crashing into that telephone pole.

Sorry, no windows yet, just new glow on the engine, and a new reflection map, a Coruscant image by Zorbi at theforce.net/scifi3d

yeah... I like it, time for the body, if you don't like it, e-mail me and tell me why

And here's the real challenging one, I need to add the damage to this one, unlike the previous one which just needs to bounce off the pole realistically

And here's my T. rex, I made him all by myself, out of several polygon cubes, he's in the process of being textured but as of now I'm not very good at it...

OK, then, added his shoulder bone and added new arms, just need to add some skin flaps on the neck and that's it

And here's the car crashed
